...I'd owe only love. A command from God, Romans 13:8, "Owe no man anything accept to love one another". As many of you know Father convicted me of my debt in Dec 05 through the reading of George Muller's audio biography and his literal interpretation of Scripture. It was amazing to see Gods movements when someone took Him at His Word. I was inspired. At his height Muller had more than 2,000 children in orphanages without any debt! On top of that He never asked anyone directly for money. As a testament of faith He would only plea to the Father for provision, and it worked! Muller was adamant about making it clear that God moved for Him and would move for anyone who would put their trust in Him. We had roughly $40,000 in chains and set out to be debt free within 1 year. By some miracles and the grace of God through the application of Biblical principles (cashing out savings, stocks, selling possessions, living more simply, spending less, working more etc..) we were delivered from financial slavery within 5 months! We've now been debt free for nearly 2 yrs and have seen the extreme benefits of not being tied down. Both our time and money have been free to more adequately love the Father and those all around us. However, we often feel isolated and alone on this issue, so when Rebekah stumbled across Nate Scott's "if I were debt free" blog we couldn't help but get excited. Here's a another guy serious about getting out of debt that's taking God at His literal Word. If your enslaved to debt, I encourage you to take minute and read over his blog. It's an inspiring story of how God's moving in his life to set him free.
