Today has proven to be an exciting day here at the Holler.
Rebekah is "overdue" with Josiah and has experienced minor contractions for the last several days. Honestly, we've thought she was in labor 4 times, but to no avail.
Tired of waiting, we set out on a 2 mile walk, then we took a ride on the tractor and finally we sat down to laugh with the apostles of comedy. Something worked! At 3pm she began labor.
At 4:30pm the contractions were still minor enough that we could enjoy 7 baptisms here at the Holler! REJOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new residents Burton, Ashely and Lindsey had never gotten baptised after their conversion. That's the same story for Ryan, one of our discipleship house residents. Burton's niece also got baptized and 2 others sporadically came forward to get dunked!
As for the labor, it's been progressing rather gradually since then, but has definitely gotten a bit more intense. She's doing well and we're all in good spirits.
Please pray that we'll be strong and courageous. If you want to put icing on that cake, pray for a quick and healthy delivery.
